The Dark Ops HellFighter X-8 tactical flashlight is built tough for long term use in hard conditions. It features a 1" body diameter composed of 6061 aluminum, a shock isolated xenon bulb that produces 150 lumens of white light and a hardened aluminum impact bezel that could serve as a last ditch self defense tool.

Was looking for a cheaper alternative to Surefire, and decided to take a chance on the X-8. My friend has a Surefire E2D, which is very similar but costs twice as much (and isn't nearly as bright). For the money it can't be beat. Since buying it, I've added 2 X-15's with pressure switches to my 870T and POF AR, another X8 for my vehicle, and an X4 for my parent's bedside. And my buddy, who was previously "only" Surefire, now has 2 as well. Customer service from the company is first rate, too. Midway is my go to store for everything after the GUNS!!!!

the hellfighter x-8 weapons lights that my friend and I purchased, is great light until you strap it on a DPMS .308. My friend and I shot 50 rounds of .45's, then we strapped them on our .308's. After 27 rounds my light broke, my friends light broke on round #24. I was very disappointed that the rough and tough looking lights did not last one night of shooting.

I also doubt the 150 L rating. My 65L Surefire seems close to the same brightness, and the 105L Surefire is definitely brighter. Also, the X-8 has a bluer light than the Surefire's more yellowish light. It's harder to pick out details in the woods with the X-8. Otherwise, the X-8 is a good, solidly built flashlight.

Had it mounted to my home defense Mossberg 500 in about 2 minutes. I got the Black Ops. mount as well and it is exactly what I was looking for. Light is extremely bright.

What a light! This was my first purchase of Dark Ops equipment, and I am extremely pleased with it. The light is super bright and very well constructed. I was also very impressed with the design of the bezel. Dark Ops definitely has a new fan!

Had it two weeks and lost it to my wife. Ordering two more tomorrow. The light pattern is tight and bright, it's built like a tank with double seals and it's half the price of my Streamlight (Strion). Also got the pressure switch for it and it works very well.

Fantastic value. Very well made. Feels solid in your hand; lightweight but still feels extremely sturdy. Very bright beam. Compared to other available lights this gives excellent quality for the price. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5-Star rating is the lack of accessories available. Only a pressure switch end-cap. I would like to see filters available, at least red, to make this a true 5-Star product. Still, all-in-all, I highly recommend it.

Great light - I ordered two: One to carry and one mounted to my shotgun with their pressure switch. First "tactical light" I own that I'd actually feel comfortable using to strike anything - the bezel is deep and substantial. The light is bright and very well focused and clean. I'd buy more if I find a need. Thank you Hellfighter and Midway USA.
