Very Nice Product

I bought these for my .50 Cal Muzzleloader with a 50mm scope. Oops, too short by 2mm, I should have known better. Returned them to Midway with a request for High rings. Midway customer service was Outstanding. The new High rings fit perfectly, finish is outstanding. Over 100 mag rounds now and haven't budged (also used Blue Loctite 242). Will use these rings on all my rifles from now on. I am sold on this product as well as Midway's return policy.

I purchased a set of these rings based on Leupold's reputation. When I went to install them, I found that none of the screws would fit one of the rings. I e-mailed Leupold about this, but have received no response. It turns out that these rings are also made in Singapore.

I had a rifle built for ...

I had a rifle built for the Remington 260 cartridge. When I went to pick up the rifle I brought my scope and a pair of Burris tactical rings to mount the scope on the rail. The Burris rings did not fit properly on the rail so the gunsmith suggested I use a pair of these $15 rifleman rings he had on hand. He assured me they were well built and milled to very tight tolerances. I agreed because I was anxious to shoot the gun and planned to replace the rings as soon as I could get something better. Well, that was several years ago and these rings are still on the rifle. They have held solid after hundreds of rounds and I just can't come up with a reason to replace them. They are lightweight, reliable and affordable. Try them and you will wonder why you have been shelling out so much money for those heavy steel rings that are overkill for most rifles.

Quick and easy to ...

Quick and easy to install. Solid design and I like the hex screws. I suggest lapping the rings prior to installing the scope. I removed a large area of imperfection in the matte coating. But hey, I always lap rings prior to install, so no need to reduce rating based on that.

I have two sets of these Leupold rings which are mounted on Savage 110s with 3-9X40 scopes (Nikon and Bushnell). Being only medium height, they keep the scopes low enough for a decent cheek weld and comfortable shooting. Both rifles have maintained tight 100-yard zeros. The hex screws and provided hex wrench are tough and will not strip at all when tightening, unlike others. Overall, a quality, durable product at a fair price.

Have these rings on a ...

Have these rings on a .22LR, .233 Rem, and a .30-06. Scopes never move and they are lightweight aluminum so they do not add a lot of weight to a rifle you need to carry in the field. All edges are finished nicely, never had these rings scratch or mar a scope. You can take the scope off and never tell it had been mounted. Will buy these any time I need quality rings.
