I have bought two of these and both pulled apart at the legs, the rubber is just too weak. I really like the quick attachment feature if only they could beef up the rubber center part.

This product breaks in cold weather. It works very well in good weather, but who hunts in perfect weather.

This is the fourth or fifth bipod that I have bought and it is the best by far. I hunt mostly on foot or sitting on the ground so many of my shots are standing. This bipod has a rubber "neck" below the attachment point that allows the legs of the bipod to bend back so I can anchor the feet in my belt or belly pack for a very solid off-hand shooting position. The bipod attaches and detaches quickly and easily requiring only a push or pull along the "axis" of the mount so that you can detach it to put your rifle in a gun rack or case and carry the bipod on your belt. The slightest offset from this alignment makes it impossible to detach, so I can't see that it could accidentally detach. I bought another set of mounting hardware so I can use the same bipod on my Sako 75 7mm-08 or my Sako 75 300WSM - and the hardware that stays attached to the rifle has a sling mount, doesn't look bad and doesn't interfere with shooing in sandbags from a bench. I like the way that Stoney Point legs adjust with a twist and a pull. Nothing on the bipod rattles, and it even comes with a clip to hole the legs together so that they won't rattle against each other.
