These are perfect 30 ...

These are perfect 30 caliber patches for "Dewey" type jags. They do not tear apart on wrap around jags. They hold plenty of solvent and are snug in the bore. Since the contact area of a wrap around jag is three or four times greater than a push through jag the Dewey/jag pacth sytem is much more efficient.

Quick update to my last review. In an attempt to use up these patches, I tried them in larger calibers and have found these to be the perfect size/thickness for .357/9mm bores.

Similar experience as ...

Similar experience as other reviewers. Jags push through in tight bores. They don't absorb well which means you use more. Also, these run thick which makes my tight brass .30 cal jag useless. Have to use a loop or loose plastic jag.

Overpriced junk. Jags ...

Overpriced junk. Jags push right through. They shred if wrapped around a phosphor-bronze-brushNow that surplus G.I. .30 cal. patches are getting harder to find, Tipton patches are a quality, viable alternative.
