I placed this on my 870 Express Magnum and fired Brenneke 3" 1 3/8 oz. Black Magic Magnum slugs and the felt recoil was significantly less than the factory pad. The only down side is that the edges of the pad do not perfectly line up to the edges of the stock, but I think it is worth saving the shoulder! I have them on two other guns of mine and I'd recommend this recoil pad to everyone!

This pad is cut an inch smaller than my factory wood stock. The screw spacing is also an inch too short center to center. I have an older 1100 with the high gloss fancy wood. Maybe these are intended for the newer plain jane 1100s? In any event if I attempted to mount this by stretching the pad the screw threads would undoubtedly rip the pad apart.

Fits factory Remington SENDERO (HS-Precision) stock. Much more cushion than the factory pad.

Bought this for my 25 yo 1100 skeet gun over a slip on limber saver b/c I figured its made by Remington for my shotgun! The holes lined up but the hard plastic backing is probly a 1/4" too short on the bottom and the entire backing is 1/16" or so too narrow. What the heck Remington!! I'll just get the Limb Saver and call it a day!

Purchased this recoil pad for a wood stocked Rem 870 Express, 12ga. I purchased this gun new in 2007, so the gun is of recent manf. This recoil pad did not fit well at all. It is too narrow on both sides of the stock by 1/16" and overlaps the bottom of the stock by 1/8". The screw holes lined up fine, but the fit is horrible.

This is an excellent pad for the newer style Remington's listed. This will not fit an older Remington 1100, 870, or 11/87. This only fits CURRENT release stocks, so you need to verify dimensions. If you have a gun made in the 60's,70's or 80's, this will probably not fit correctly.That being said, the Supercell is very good at recoil reduction, and it is very light weight. If you have purchased your Remington new in the last few years and want to upgrade your pad, this is the one.

This will not fit a 1100 ...

This will not fit a 1100 wood stock gun. The part of the pad that fits against your shoulder is the right size but the side that attaches to the butt of the gun tapers down a great deal. The holes do not line up and butt of the gun sticks out on all sides, especially at the bottom where it's close to an inch too short. Looks very bad.

Purchased the pad for an 870 Express Super-mag with wood stock. It does not fit well at all. It overlaps the bottom of the stock by about 1/8" and is too narrow on both sides by about 1/16".
