The DeSantis SOF-TUCK is a new Inside the Waistband Tuck-able holster with adjustable cant. It can be worn strong side, cross draw or on the small of the back. It is built from soft, no-slip suede and reinforced at the top with premium saddle leather to aid in re-holstering.

The holster seems really ...

The holster seems really well made. I bought it for a S&W J Frame. Without a Thumb strap retention is strictly friction between holster and firearm and how tightly you cinch your pants. Only time and use will tell what issues that may rise. The belt clip worked with a 1-3/4" belt slightly thicker than normal (but not a gun belt) worn inside blue jeans. Don't think it would work with dress pants or belt. Firearm rides high enough to easily grasp the grip. On the downside the bulkiness of the holster makes the tuckable feature useless. Your pants bulge in an obvious manner regardless of where you place it. The higher riding firearm position also allows the grip bulge to be seen under a light shirt. The holster is fine for wearing under a heavier shirt, that's not tucked in, and that will cover the bulge in the waistline. I'll use it in the winter with my SP101 (which it fit fine) under heavier clothing, but it doesn't solve the summer carry issue I was hoping to resolve. All-in-all another disappointment in my search for the ideal concealment holster.

First off, I feel I must mention the build quality of this holster which is excellent! The leather is very nice and the stitching looks great. However, this holster has a few flaws, at least for this particular firearm. It feels like the gun rides too high above the waistline and could flip to the outside and fall out. Even with a belt on, I can roll the holster outside of my pants simply by pressing the grip of the pistol straight out and down, away from my body. The retention seemed pretty tight at first but got weaker pretty quickly. Also, because the gun rides so high up, the weight of the gun wants to hang over the top of my pants and the muzzle end pokes into my back. I think this holster would be much better if the gun sat about 1/2 to 1 inch lower.

Purchased this for a J frame.Appears well made and a quality piece. Disappointed that the belt clip was too thin and would not fit on a heavy duty belt. Did not like IWB carry and Felt like the a good OWB carry holster actually concealed the j frame better and more comfortable.

Bought the J-Frame size ...

Bought the J-Frame size for a Charter 2000 .357 Bulldog Pug and it is a bit small. Gun rides up and needs to be checked often. Gives me a "reason to buy a J-Frame," now:). The holster is too nice to modify, I will look for the next size up. For the price, it is a great buy, just as good as an $85.00 one at a local store. No retention is a plus IMHO, because in a panic situation the retention will slow you down. 4 stars only because the description lead me to think it would work on the .357, which is slightly larger than the Taurus 85 or the S&W Air Weight. Another great buy from Midway.

I just recieved the holster for my Taurus M85 Ultra Lite. So far I've discovered the holster to be well made. It appears to be well made. It appears to be a very tight fit and you must really make an effort to place the revolver inside to make sure it is in. But once in it appears to have good retention. The comfort is really well, and the adjustablitity of cant is great. I would defintely recommend this product to others.

The holster looked really well made, but I didn't care for it. I bought it for a Taurus M85. There was very little retention, and the bulk of the holster made gun a lot less concealable.

I recently purchased one for my SW642.Pistol fits well. Holster rides great. You can tuck your shirt in between pants and unit easily. Very descrete.
