After having several FTF problems with the Gen1 PRI mags I purchased 2 of these 15 rounders to try out. The Gen1 magazines used to cause rounds to nose dive into the feed ramps. When comparing the Gen1 and Gen2 mags the feed lip angle on the Gen2 mags position the rounds higher above the feed ramps and seems to have eliminated the FTF malfunctions I was having. These mags run great in my LMT 6.8. I have tested Factory Remington 115gr FMJ, Hornady 110 V-Max and several different reloads; everything has fed flawlessly. I purchased 3 more and I have not had a single malfunction while using any of the 5 magazines. The 15 round magazines work much better that the 25 round magazines when shooting over a bench or prone from a bipod.

PRI makes some really nice stuff, it's never especially cheap, but it's always quality. At any rate after investing $500+ in a custom 6.8 conversion, I wasn't about to skimp on the magazines. Expect a break-in period just like most new mags, but these are solid, have a nice finish, and don't cost much more than other quality manufacturers, they're the smartest choice out there. I use my 6.8 for hog hunting. I didnt like carrying a full 25 round mag and this mag feeds really well, fits beautifully into the magwell on all my lowers and feels/looks durable.

I bought two just to try and the fact that you can't get c-products right now. The two that I have work just fine in a Spikes lower, RRA lower, Stag lower and one Bushmaster lower. Both mags are a little tight in my other Bushmaster V-Match lower. Will not drop free! That tells me the lower has a problem not the mags. Both mags took 15 rounds the first time with no problem or extra effort to insert the last round. One other thing I like about this mag is the bullet tip-up and the large open front area of the mag. No hang ups when a cartridge is being stripped off the mag. I plan on getting more than a few of these mags.

Well I was really looking ...

Well I was really looking forward to getting this mag as I know you can seat your bullets out to 2.305" with it. However the mag needs pounded on to get seated and requires considerable force to pull out with no chance of dropping free. Finish is very nice and it appears to be well made just does not fit right and I tried it in three different lowers with the same result in each. Returning today. Will be sticking with the C-products. Alot cheaper and fit is perfect.

I bought two. One works Ok, with some rubbing and binding. The second will hardly seat, and must muscle it out. Not what I expected for the price.

Great looking mags. A bit ...

Great looking mags. A bit on the heavy side. I bought two. One didn't fit (too tight) in the magwell of my LWRC, but it's replacement did. Neither mag will drop freely from the magwell when released--they must be gently pulled.

This mag has a different body than the DMPS (also made by PRI) and is about a 1/2 shorter than a standard 20 round (5.56) mag. works great for bench shooting. Trust me it is worth the price because it works. Read the negative reviews on some of the other 6.8 mags out there and then buck up and buy one. I have 3 plus a DMPS and have had no problems with any of them. I can't wait till PRI's new 5.56 mags are available.

Great mag, well worth the extra money. I've tried other manufacturers but had erratic feeding issues with them. PRI 6.8's work the best for me. Excellent feeding and utterly reliable in minus temperatures, have yet to have an issue with these waffle mags. The only mag for a 6.8 in my opinion, will buy more.
