Product Information

This complete Trigger Assembly is CNC machined from aircraft aluminum and equipped with precision EDM parts. It features an internal pre-travel adjustment and a hammer that is precision ground from 440C stainless steel and hardened to 58 RC. The sear and disconnector are made of A2 hardened tool steel with tolerances of +/- .0002", complete with custom tuned springs. The trigger is black anodized, equipped with an overtravel adjustment screw and is reset internally to eliminate any dragging or inconsistencies caused by a conventional trigger plunger. An automatic bolt release and an extended magazine release are also included. Trigger pull is pre-set to 2 to 2-1/2 lbs. Due to the oversized safety used, it may be necessary for some stocks to be modified slightly to accommodate this part.

Top notch product. I had to hammer the pins in to install the trigger. It fit perfectly into a Fajen Thumbhole Sporter stock, in fact, it fit better than the stock Ruger trigger guard assembly. The magazine release button and the bolt retainer work so much better than the stock Ruger trigger guard assembly that I am amazed and most pleased.Shooting was even better. Shot .390" 5 shot group at 50 yards with Wolf Match Target and a 10 shot group that made a .750" hole at 50 yards with a quartering wind, same ammo. This is pretty good shooting for a 72 year old diabetic with fuzzy eyes and a shaky hand. I am so glad that I bought this trigger group and even got it on sale before they went out of stock. I can only compare this Volquartsen to the Ruger trigger with a spring job. Both had a 2# letoff but the lack of overtravel in the Volquartsen made lots of difference. Summary:1. A snap to install, drops right in.2. Crisp 2# pull3. No overtravel and almost no takeup.4. Oversize magazine release is wonderful.5. Automatic bolt release, no fumbling around as with the stock trigger.TOPS IN MY BOOK.

I bought two triggers for my 10/22's, one is great, Very smooth light trigger pull and no creep. The other is heavy with lots of creep and it will not release the clip. I called Volquartsen and sent it back for replacement and 4 wks later no trigger and I keep getting a run around when it will be sent. Customer servce and quality control needs some work at Volquartsen.

I replaced the stock trigger on my Magnum Research MLR22AT with this trigger and i am now shooting more consistently. my only gripe is that this trigger is not adjustable. i just wish the trigger pull was just a tad lighter. other than that the trigger was a breeze to install and has functioned flawlessly with over 500 rounds down range.

Magazine release hung up ...

Magazine release hung up and did not work. Had to modify some internal parts. Quality control was not doing their job the day my trigger group was made. Never had any trouble with any Volquartsen in the past. Was really surprised and disapointed. After mods were made works ok. Trigger has a little more creep than I like, will work on that later. Did not expect this. Hope they get it together in the future.

Solid product. This was a no-brainer switch and drop in operation that took all of two minutes. One screw to remove the stock from the receiver, and popped the two receiver retaining pins for the old stock trigger to come out. Switched this trigger in, and put it back together. This trigger has some serious heft to it. Have a second 10/22 with a Power Custom trigger/sear get-up in the stock Ruger cast aluminum trigger. The Power Custom get-up was noticeably lighter in the hand, weight-wise. Performs as stated. I was able to swap out the Volquartsen mag release for a Power Custom extended handle and tried the Tac Sol one that was on my other 10/22 for kicks to see which fit better. Both work fine on this rig which goes to the attention Volquartsen pays to part interchangeability. Pricey, but the old saying 'you get what you pay for' applies in a good way here.

Price - OK Fitting - Easy... Do it your self. Houge stock needed a little molding. Performance - Well worth every penny I paid. This trigger is the best for the price. No play when pulling. Went well with the bull butler creek barrel and Leupold 3x9 rifleman scope. I created a tac driver out to 40 yards. Great Product!!!

Very easy to install - even for a first timer. The positive difference this trigger assembly makes is dramatic. Be aware of your first shot and make sure your barrel is on target before you touch the trigger.

Excellent trigger assembly. I used this trigger on a benchrest build for my 5 yr. old son, who loves it and shoots it well. It's a little expensive, but the results are well worth it. One hole groups at 25 and 50yds.

I received this trigger group about 2 weeks ago and immediately noticed how nicely machined it is. It then literally fell into the place of the stock trigger group. This past weekend I shot a steel silhouette match and I am very pleased with the performance. While the trigger group did nothing for my score, it made the experience much more comfortable. It was a warm day and that last couple of relays I did not have to feel like I was yanking on the trigger. Very glad that I made the leap and bought this for my 10/22.
