Product Information

ProMag magazine bodies are constructed of high carbon heat-treated steel and TIG-welded for strength. The springs are precision wound using heat-treated chrome silicon wire. Bases and followers are injection molded from polymers selected for their durability. The result is quality, consistency, durability and reliability.

I have 2 chinese and 1 russian sks. All of the magazines was worked on so they would fit right when I put them in place. Every other shot jammed up in the chamber. They don't fit and don't chamber right. Save your money.

so far so great!!!! functions flawlessly and for all whom are looking for these mags for a yugo sks i have the a2 version and it locks up tight no wobble to it at all but racks round after round perfectly... very skeptical in the beginning of bad reviews due to lack of info on which sks these would work for but i must say my gut hasn't failed me yet.

As far as quality of the ...

As far as quality of the mag goes it's not bad, and that's the only reason why I gave it 2 stars instead of one. Worth thirty dollars? no, but it functions. The problem I had is that it is just an AWFUL fit. Extremely loose, it wont "click" in, the mag release barley holds it in place. Once in you can wiggle it up, down, sideways, you name it... In fact it wouldn't even stay in place enough for the bolt to go forward, you'd have to wiggle the mag in order to do so. After some tweaking and flaring I managed to get it somewhat snug and the bolt now works properly. However it jams every 5 or so rounds, probably due to me messing with it.The bottom line.Awful fit, to the point of functionality issues.note: I have a Chinese SKS, This mag could defiantly work great with a Russian, Yugo, etc.

This is the one and only ...

This is the one and only 30 rd mag for an SKS that will function properly. No FTF or Double Feeds and it always holds the bolt open on the last shot which is a major bonus for the SKS since you can't remove the mag with the bolt closed. I have tried every brand of 30rd SKS mags and they are all junk except for the PROMAG 30 rounders. These are not cheap by any means but I would pay more as these are the best.

I ordered one of these to try out with my Norinco even though I had heard some bad reviews about the manufacturer. After putting 500 rounds through it without a single problem I'm glad I took the chance and plan on ordering a few more soon.
