This is a good red dot scope. Only limitation this one has is the fixed 5 moa dot (wish it was selectable from say 2, 4, 6, 8, 10moa).I own two PDP3's and they've been mounted and working soundly for nearly 15 years. One is mounted to an EAA Witness 9x21 pistol and the other is on my Remington 870 shotgun, which has gone deer hunting with me for these 15 years also. Works in all foul weather we get here in Illinois. It came with rings and a battery, lens hoods and was easy to mount to Weaver / Picatinny rails and zeroed with no problems.I'll be buying a 3rd for my AR15.

I really wanted this product to work for me, but, alas, it failed miserably... I read the reviews, figured this was a great, inexpensive scope for my .22 pistol, but, I was wrong. Ordered it, got it, tried to install it, guess what, rings did not tighten down; manufacturer defect maybe?? Also, the rubber on the dial spun freely, so to spin the stiff dial, you need to press against the sharp edge of the metal; that stings after a while. Called Midway, the said ship it back, which I did. Take 2:Ordered it again, guess what, same thing happens, rings don't lock down, rubber grip comes loose. I advised Midway to pull remaining off the shelf; I believe they have a bad batch on hand. I will say this, Midway customer service is top notch when dealing with for returns, so, product not good but customer service spectacular!! Going to try a different option, maybe an UltraDot.

What can I say - a great red dot at a fair price. This is mounted on a Browning Buck Mark pistol that I shoot competitively as well as plinking and general target shooting. The dot is very bright and works well in bright AZ sunshine and is perfectly round. I have about 1000 .22 LR rounds on this sight so far. Battery life has been great and I have not had to change out the original battery yet.

I have two of these units. First one is mounted on a Hastings 12 ga. slug barrel for deer hunting, and the second is on a 14" 44mag T/C.Both units have been in use for over three years without a problem. Over 2500 rounds between the two units with no change in zero and no loss of brightness. Easy to adjust with excellent battery life.Only downside is the rings. Not all that great. You may want to consider upgrading to another weaver style. Also, too large to fit the weaver mount for Ruger single actions, and other short bases. Overall a great product.

I mounted this scope on a Encore Pistol, in .467GNR, thats a 410gr slug to 1800fps. I fully expected it to come apart in a few rounds but, after 45 rounds it still going strong. Accuracy is great. If it lasts 100 rounds I will post it as shockproof.

I mounted my new PDP3 on a S&W 22a and I really must say it's a blast. My groups at 10 yards stay inside a 1/2 inch dot and at 25 yards I'm shooting bullseyes 90% of the time.The sight comes with sunshades, a UV filter, Lens caps, rings and batteries.Two minutes to install, 10 shots to sight it in. Everything has a slot for a coin like a quarter. Very handy.I'm thinking of buying a second one to try on my old levergun.
