Berger's Target Flat Base bullets are perfect bullet for the reloader looking for great performing, consistent, accurate bullets. Flat Base bullets are easier to manufacturer helping to ensure bullets will be made with exacting precision helping lead to tighter groups at shorter ranges. Flat base target bullets are popular for shooters looking to shoot the tightest groups at short ranges but also work well for taking down varmints. This is not loaded ammunition.

I use these bullets in my 22-250 varmint rig. I have tried many different brands and Berger has outperformed others in accuracy for me. I have had mixed results in this bullets expansion on predators. Some with little and some with large exit wounds. They were designed for target but work well on coyote and smaller varmints. With Berger bullets you will place it where you aim it.

Four of five shots measured .043" at 100 yards. I also shot a five shot group at 500 yards where four of the shots mearsured 1.3".

Very accurate out of my 22-250AI, with a 12 twist. It is shooting in the .3's with these bullets, and Varget powder. Used these bullets for coyotes, and they did not tear them up too badly.
