Designed with law enforcement, target shooters, and serious hunters in mind, the Millett Tactical Series scope features options the most demanding shooter requires. The oversized side focus knob is clearly marked and can easily be read from the shooting position and the crisp 1/4 MOA windage and elevation locking adjustment turrets can be dialed with little deviation from the shooting position. The Ill. Mil-Dot Bar model features adjustable green crosshairs with 10 settings for any lighting conditions. The TRS-1 is the best priced scope out there. I have shot this at every range out to 900 yards and it performed flawlessly. The glass is very clear, the windage and elevation are precise and repeatable and reticle is well thought out. This has ridden everything from a .338 Lapua to a .223 and has never failed. Buy it, you won't regret it.

***DO NOT BUY***Would not even rate it with one star. Its the worst scope I've ever tested. Power ring-fail. Focus ring-fail. Repeatability-fail, clarity- average. Durability - fail. As for customer service, if you stay on top of them they'll make it right. Not worth the money, get a Bushnell, they own Millett, or a Leupold-AR if on a budget. I would even get a Hawke. Did I mention 4 out five scope failed, on a .308 Win. Did not even keep the fifth, sent back for the new 6500 Bushnell.

Excellent product. I have used on this scope on prairie dogs and whitetail on multiple rifles from 5.56 to .300 Win Mag. Highly recommend.

Had no problems with my scope, for the money you cant beat it. Not as nice as high end sightrons, luepys, and vortex, but if you want somthing tactical and the ability to click your range, all the way out to 1000 yrds on a budget, this scope will do it.

A friend of mine had bought one of these a few months back and mounted it on his Savage .308 and I was STUNNED by the clarity of the optics. As others have mentioned, comparing a scope that costs a couple of hundred to a scope that costs a couple of thousand isn't fair, but this thing is easily within 5% of my Leopuld Mark IV. After keeping a close eye on his scopes performance, I bought one this past month and mounted it up on a CZ-550 chambered in .308 Win. It was easy to dial to zero and it has HELD zero. I'm about to order a couple more of these to store as backups. I'd rather have 2 of these for each of my field rifles than 1 expensive scope. I have never seen a "cheap" scope that looks and performs like this... Truly amazing.

Poor quality made in ...

Poor quality made in China product. The clicks on the turrets are mushy. It is the second time I return this scope because when I unscrew the return to zero screw, it binds with the mechanism and it moves the reticle.The rear cap is so cheap that if I open it, the cap falls off. So I remove the cap instead of flipping it.However, the side focus adjustment is big, firm and nice. It is easy to use compared to some other scopes.The glass is fair at best. Side by side with a Nikon Buckmaster, Redfield or a Fullfield II, the glass is inferior.

had this for a few years now, mounted on my AR10, clarity is good, scope has been banged, dropped, crusted with ice, used in sub-zero temp, used in very humid 100+ degree heat. still hitting targets out to 1000m, DOPE is still the same for adjustments provided temp and load and ect are the same. have and will recommend this scope as a decent entry level long range optic if on a budget

Put this scope on a Rem ...

Put this scope on a Rem model 710 .270 win. What I like: Out of the box, I was impressed with the clarity of the optics (similar to my leupold vxII, possibly better). All the knobs turned smoothly and with an acceptable amount of effort. The AO is great, although you cannot see the distance reading when focused on the scope, it is very easy to dial it in so everything is crystal clear. There was no blur at 16x (full power) like there often is on optics in this class. Love the reticle, very thin lines make for precise shooting and the mildotbar makes distancing very easy with practice. With my leupold, I was shooting 1" groups at 150 yards consistently. With this scope, I was shooting 1/2 to 3/4" groups consistently (If you have a higher quality rifle I'm sure you could do better). The illuminated reticle works well, and is perfect for hunting at night for predators.What I don't like:The scope is heavy, but any scope of this size will be. You have to tighten the bottom holding rings of the turrets while shooting, or your groups will move. However, once sighted in and the rings are tightened, the rifle holds center very well. Lastly, the owners manual is crap and is for an outdated model.Overall:For the money, I haven't seen a scope that offers all of these features that offers comparable quality & accuracy. Will update review if any problems occur down the road.
