Product Information

The bullet that started the company, Nosler Partition Bullets feature a fully tapered jacket that ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high or low velocities.

Nosler's integral Partition supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet weight for deep penetration. The special crimp locks in the rear core section, adding strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums. This is not loaded ammunition.

Used this with RS Hunter and Midway Moly in a 260 Ruger compact chronoed @ 2600 mv for my daughter's elk hunt. She shot her elk at 225 yards and it went all of three steps, total destruction forward of the diaphragm and exited the off side. Enough said.

Have used this bullet for years in my 6.5-06 great on paper even better on deer or anything else. This is my go to round backed by a dose of IMR 4831.

I load these into Norma brass in a very custom 6.5/284. I'm here to tell you that I would NO problem hunting anything with this load. 3/4" groups at 100yds and right under 3000fps would take just about anything that walks. You CANNOT go wrong with the Nosler Partition.

I used this bullet to shoot an average Oklahoma 6 pt. buck at 50 yards with my 6.5x55mm Swedish. It a was clean shoulder shot and took the top of the heart out. The buck made it about 30 - 40 yards before dropping. There was only a little blood and it looked like the bullet expanded very little. The entrance wound was actually hard to find after we skinned the deer. Although this bullet is very lethal, I think I'll go back to the Ballistic Tips for close-medium range shots on deer-size game.

Loaded this bullet in .260 Ackley improved, RL-19, 22 inch barrel, 1 in 7 twist. Muzzle vel. 2820. Penetrated Zebra, small exit wound, Gemsbuck 1 inch exit, Black Wildebeest, White Bleesbuk, Springbok, Mountain Reedbok, two inch exit wounds. All one shot kills. Recovered one bullet (insurance shot) from Zebra, close range, fully expanded to partition, 63 percent weight retention. Impressed the heck out of the professional hunters. Sighted in with front rest, 1.5 inch group at 200 yards.

I've used the 140 gr. Partition in my M700 260 Rem @ 2630 fps. Great accuracy(under 1") and devastating on deer. Took 2 bucks, both lung shot. 1 dropped, the other made it 30 feet. Good sized exit wounds.

Used this bullet with my browning 264 winchester magnum and the bullet performed perfectly. Shot an Elk at 320yds and the exit wound was greater than 1".
