Good P238 Magazine

This is a near perfect copy of the factory p238 magazines. The followers and feed lips on both are identical in design.

This one justs has a matte finish and different logo on the bottom.

Works and functions perfectly in my p238.

I tried one at the range last week and I can't tell the difference in performance between it and the factory mag. If you must have a polished mag try 1000 grit followed by 2500 grit wet paper. I personally like the flat finish. I also liked it enough to buy another.

Ordered two of these mags. Lot numbers are different, but the only noticeable difference is in the base plate. One is rough ground and one is polished. Both function the same as the factory mag that came with the gun. I fired about 100 rounds total between them with no failures.

I bought 2 magazines that arrived today. Both were hard to insert into my Sig P238. One mag would lock the slide back but the slide would not release when the slide lock was depressed. The second Mag would not lock the slide back and would not release when the mag release was pressed. The follower was binding on the slide lock holding it in place. On a second attempt the mag was wedged in so hard that I had to apply pressure to the follower with a wood dowel to get it to release. I have no problems with the Sig mag.

I bought two of these mags. One of them works sometimes but it does not always lock the slide back when empty. The other one never locks the slide back. You can see a difference between the two. I do not have this problem with my stock mag.
