Finish and material is ...

Finish and material is good. But the gas port was way too small for a DPMS gas tube. I have to machine 0.002" bigger diameter, in order for the DMPS gas tube to go in. For Daniel Defense rail 12" rail, I also had to cut 2 shoulders on the top side so this gas block can go into the rail a little bit to match the gas port on the barrel. JP should add an other set screw to lock the adjustment screw.

I was very disappointed ...

I was very disappointed in the fact that the gas valve set screw is way too loose to hold its adjustment. I would think that a company of the fine reputation of JP enterprises would have done a much better job of engineering this. As it is, I will have to "reverse engineer it" with a longer set screw and a locking nut. For the time being I am using Teflon tape, but I am not sure how long that will hold. It's a real shame. The mount is also a tad heavy, but I guess that come with the territory being made of stainless steel that won't strip as easily as aluminum...

Very nice fit and finish, overall a good quality product, except that the adjustment set screw is too loose and sloppy to hold its adjustment.

The JP enterprise ...

The JP enterprise adjustable gas block works as advertised. Easy to install and the picatinny rail on top is a nice touch. The Allen screw that adjust the pressure could have been made so that the adjustment would be more precise, but the overall product is very good.
