The 1/4" thick 1075 High Carbon steel one-piece construction, including the hand guard, makes the Rescue Axe extremely strong and durable. The three-blade design makes the Rescue Axe extremely versatile and unique. The ground axe blade is great for chopping, the beveled shovel tip is great for digging, and chisel tip great for prying and puncturing. The Rescue Axe also features a Hydrant and Gas wrench cutout in the blade and a safety notch for use when shoveling. The G-10 handle scales are durable and provide a secure grip, even when wet.
