Disconnector was designed to create extremely light trigger pulls. The low mass of the Disconnector allows for a faster trigger reset time, which also reduces the change of the trigger not reconnecting. Requires fitting by a qualified gunsmith.

bought this along with the C&S ultra low mass sear, paired it with the wilson value line hammer (which required filing on the primary firing notch)and wilson custom tune leaf spring inside a taurus pt1911. very happy with the C&S products, extremely crisp break at consistant 2.8 lb pull. would probly recomend the C&S match set though for $135 as the set up i have was around the same price with more hassle but lower trigger pull.

I have used this disconnector in both Colt and Springfield Armory frames and along with a properly stoned sear have had no trouble achieving a consistant 3-to31/2# very crisp trigger pull. Excellent product, very superior to GI part!
