The DoubleStar Dissipator adapter block allows you to convert a standard carbine or mid-length barrel into a Dissipator style barrel. The block clamps to the barrel with one hex screw and will securely hold the handguard cap so you can install rifle length handguard. To use rifle length handguard on a carbine barrel you will need a low-profile gas block (available separately) to clear the handguard. Constructed of steel with a .750" inside diameter for standard barrel profiles.
