I knocked this rating ...

I knocked this rating down to a three because I do not like the stainless steel rod. This is not meant to be a poor reflection on the quality of the product as designed by the manufacturer. I thought I would give it a try because it made sense that it would cause less barrel wear due to not picking up impurities like a coated rod might. But every time I slide it down a barrel I hear the stainless steel rubbing against the bore and it sounds terrible. I'm going to stick to the graphite and coated type rods from Dewey and Tipton. I'll still use this rod for the large bores in the rifle rack.
