I use these bullets in a ...

I use these bullets in a 134 year old Springfield trapdoor 45-70 rifle. Bullet weight is 405 grains just like the original. With a hollow base there is no need for a wad and the bullet is sized so there is really no need for enlarging the cartridge neck. (Cartridges last what seems like forever) Sometimes the lubricant comes off the grease groves when you pull the bullet from the package. Just put it back on or add some of your own before seating. I shoot dead center bulls at 100 yards.
