This is a nice little ...

This is a nice little mount. It easily holds up my Konus 20-60 x 100 spotting scope and it's small enough to fit in the nylon bag that the Konus came with. It's not the fanciest or most robust mount on the market but for the price it looks like it will serve me well for a number of years. One thing to note is that there are 3 knobs- one is the clamp, the other fixes horizontal rotation, and the third, the long handle fixes vertical rotation. Once I figured that out I was able to secure my Konus scope in any position I wanted.

Had ordered the Burris ...

Had ordered the Burris brand because of perceived reputation for quality and I like the detachable foot feature. Unfortunately, I could not tighten the camera/scope base enough to keep it from falling over. It appeared to be missing a tension washer or spacer on the side tension adjusting knob. I had to fabricate a spacer from a brass washer and rubber spacer to get it to work - not worth my time to send it back to Midway. (Made in China if that offers a clue - sorry Burris, I expected better). Other than some required hands-on modifications - it looks like it will work good.

The mount was very study. It fit on all applications I tried. I would recommend it to anyone.
