Very good looking bullets and you can just feel that quality in the hand while loading... Im using these specifically in a 2.5" CCW (MK40) . my accuracy is climbing quickly with these bullets. I loaded my fist 100 at 1150fps and now thinking about slowing the next batch down a little bit... maybe somewhere between 950-1050?

I have used different bullets of this weight and diameter for personal protection rounds for years. But when I found Nosler made this bullet it was fantastic. The best bullet I have ever had the pleasure to shoot in this caliber. They group very well and give consistent speeds with very tight group shots. The expansion of these bullets are great, the best I have seen. I love to reload and work up loads that have speeds and accuracy that tops some of the best personal defense rounds for a whole lot less. Also I have had no hang-ups jams or stove pipes with this bullet. It feeds great and hits where it is pointed.

Loaded up these with Hogdons Longshot info and got over 1400 fps very close to what the data stated, accuracy was there and when I shot at some steel plates the power was very evident. Shot them in my .40 XDSC, the guy next to me was shooting factory 180 gr fmjs and compared to hits on the steel it was like he was shooting a 9mm with reduced loads, very pleased, rh.

This is probably one of the best 135 Grain bullets I have ever used. Consistently accurate out to 25 Yards from my Glock 22. I have loaded with the Ramshot True Blue and CCI-500 Primers. The loads have been extremely clean, with mild recoil. These are a little expensive for target loads, but regardless they are very accurate.

This bullet shot very tight groups out of an XDM over a near max load of Power Pistol. I did fire a few rounds into a stack of old encyclopedias that had been duct taped together. Penetration into this dry media was moderate, and every round had the jacket separate from the core. I don't know how this round will perform on "soft targets".

I loaded these in a CZ75, and they performed just like the Sierra 135 gr., which is to say, great! They are flat shooting and accurate, and as other posters have noted, like to be driven fast. Blue Dot gives velocity on a par with a 125 gr 357 mag from a 4" barreled revolver (except that the bullet is 10 grains HEAVIER and .04" LARGER IN DIAMETER! My only complaint is that they are suddenly becoming hard to get! I guess the word has gotten out; you can't go wrong with these!

As most folks here have said, this is a near-perfect bullet. The only better performer is the 135gr Sierra SportsMaster (prod #785388) which used to be used in CorBons. The Nosler exhibits great ballistics and can be pushed very hard with no sacrifice in accuracy. A favorite load is Bullseye for ~1430fps out of an XD/M. The Nosler 135 is one of my favorites. If you want a terrific bullet this is one to buy.

Compared 3 similar bullets, all .40 135 JHPs, all with a R-P nickel case, 3.9 gr of Clays, seated to 1.125 (a LIGHT load, very low pressure according to the Hodgdon Manual). Sierra and Rainier bullets grouped 6 shots in about 3" out of a S&W 646 revolver at 25 yards. The Nosler 135 grouped at just under 1.25 inches (it wasn't luck, it was an almost level horizontal string, no more than 1/4 inch separated the highest from the lowest). Spectacular accuracy. These will be my match bullets from now on.

This is the best bullet I have shot yet from my problematic Sigma SW40V. I had these loaded with Clays and they not only feed extremely well but were hitting point of aim at 25 feet and grouped <3" on a rest. I know this bullet is better than my shooting. It even performed better than Hornady 155 gr. XTPs. I am buying 500 more!

I used this bullet in a Glock model 22. Over a charge of Blue Dot it would shoot 1" groups at 25 yards from a rest, and to point of aim or just below. Freehand the groups were only a little bigger. I could keep all 15 rounds inside 8" at 50 yards freehand. The bullet expands extremely well under a variety of conditions. I did some very unscientific expansion tests in lots of mediums and found the cavity to rarely plug and even then the bullet would open quite a bit anyway. Penetration was always low compared to other bullets in the same gun. As I ascribe to the "Penetrate But Don't Perforate" school of thought, this was pleasing.Great bullet. Highly recommended for any purpose.
