The MidwayUSA Rifle Cheek Rest with Rifle Ammunition Carrier is made with our exclusive non-slip material. This shell-holding cheek pad offers comfort while increasing the shooter's grip at the same time. The Rifle Cheek Rest is made of 1000 denier nylon and closed cell foam. The Cheek Rest is designed to aid in eye relief efficiency, slipping and felt recoil to the neck and cheek. The tie down systems ensures proper fit to all rifle stocks. On the side there is a zippered accessory pouch ideal for stowing small items such as write a notebook, ballistic cards or wind meter. Due to product design, this allows for use by right-handed shooters only.

I purchased two of these. One is mounted on a Marlin 1895. Fits and looks perfect. With a scope on my 1895, this really helped with getting a consistent cheek weld everytime I shouldered the rifle. The cartridge loops also hold five 450 Marlin cartridges, no problem. Installation took about one minute. The second cheek rest is on my Weatherby Mark V Lightweight. Again, everything fits and looks perfect. I really like the zippered pouch. I use it to hold lens cleaning cloth for the scopes. Overall, I would recommend this product everyday...and twice on Sunday.

This product is ok. The zippered pouch is great. But I pushed through some really thick chinery/brush/briars this season trying to push deer, and lost 4 rounds of .280 rem - stripped right out. So keep your ammo in the pouch, not in the worthless outer shell holders (rimmed cartridges would probably stay in though). The strings also loosen and have to be re-tightened from time to time - not a big deal. Too bad no one makes a decent one of these. What someone should make is one that has the individual ammo loops fully inside a zippered pouch, where you can also throw in an allen wrench, etc., and goes on with straps that actually fit.

Works well on my 30-06

I put this cheek rest on my Marlin XL7 30-06 and it works great! Raises my head just enough to get an almost perfect cheek weld for looking though my scope on medium height rings. The elastic band also holds my extra rounds solidly in place. The elastic cord that comes with it is a bit long though, but at least you know you have enough to go around any stock. Definitely will buy again!

I use this on a .308 savage FCP-K. I like it since the padding gets me slightly higher off the stock and it makes it significantly more comfortable. I haven't used the bullet loops, I just use this at the range. Would buy again.

This rifle pack works great for adding a little extra cheek weld on a rifle stock. It also allows me to add a few extra rounds to my stock so I dont have to keep them in my pocket. So far this stock pack has worked very well for me.

For the money the product is good. I like the side pocket for storing things. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because for being a Midway product, I was expecting it to be made in the USA. Instead there's a big sticker inside the pocket, made in China.

Put this on my TC Encore (6.5x55)and went deer hunting which included pushing through brush. I never lost my cartridges and it never moved out of position. Going to buy another one for my other Encore. Another Great Midway product!

I have trouble keeping the lacing tight on this, its continually slipping out of place. Spend a few more bucks, get one that uses velcro straps that won't loosen all the time.

If quality is an issue then spend a few extra bucks and get the BlackHawk as it seems to be made with higher quality material. I own both and side by side the BlackHawk is made better. This one is good. I expect both to give years of service but I fully expect the BlackHawk to last a bit longer.
