The MTM Survivor Ammo Can is a secure way to store ammunition, handguns, valuables and other items underground. The Survivor Ammo Can is ideal for disaster prep to store documents, emergency cash, and other survival gear. Also popular for time capsules and geo caching, uses are endless for this quality burial tube. With the same inside cubic inches of a .50 caliber ammo can, the Survivor Ammo Can is capable of holding 600 rounds of 45 ACP ammo or 500 rounds and a handgun. To keep the contents clean and dry a Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor plastic bag and desiccant pack are included in each can. Designed with reinforced ridges to give strength to the bucket style body. The lid is double O-Ring sealed and held in place with 6 stainless steel screws. Also included is a protective cover that protects the sealed lid from damage during excavation.
