I realy like Hornady Ammo

This ammo is for full size pistols. It lets you know it is a strong round. I tried some in my sub compact 9 and it was more than needed, I also put some through my full size and and was very impressed. Great accuracy function flawlessly,penetrates well. I would highly recomend.

This is quality ammo and ...

This is quality ammo and has become my new carry ammo. It has been thoroughly tested for bullet performance, offers good penetration and expansion and very good reliability. The bullets are firmly crimped, the primers are sealed and the case is nickel plated, so these should be up to the job of every-day carry where moisture can cause problems. POI was right on at 25 yards from my H&K P7. Spent cases were surprisingly clean and showed little chamber scratching characteristic of +P ammo in P7s. Very clean. Supposedly low flash however I have not experimented (yet). The expansion numbers stated are moderate, but I do think that the reliability of this design, using a polymer plug in the cavity, offers much greater peace of mind than a tenth of an inch of expansion. Also, the 135 grain weight gives a cross-sectional density that delivers the optimal ~12-15" of penetration. 147s can be too much, 125s can be too little, and 135s seem to be Goldilocks--just right.

Hornady has hit another home run! At 7 yards with my Kahr PM9 (3.1" barrel) I shot a 2" 7-round group using a Weaver Stance. The best 4-rounds were in an inch. Recoil was very acceptable for a +P round from this small pistol. This is definitely my carry round for this pistol.

Once again, another great product from Hornady. You can alwaysa trust your life to their ammo. My FN FNS9 is shooting 1/2 inch groups at 10 yards, so very accurate. I can't wait to test ballistic gel this July.

Very good ammo. Purchased ...

Very good ammo. Purchased 3 boxes: 15 for carry (M&P Shield 9mm). Ammo shot right to POA at 8, 10, and 12 yards, and about 3/4" inch low at 25 yards. That's pretty accurate. Ammo was also very clean-burning; powder residue on the muzzle end of the gun was light and expended shell casings had very little soot in them. Cleaning the gun was a snap. Recoil was manageable from my Shield M&P (3.1" barrel). Also, based on ballistics testing it appears that this penetrates very well; doesn't tend to expand as much as an HST or T-series, but has decent expansion. I would recommend.
