Well, it's me again. After training myself to use this product, not just expecting I knew how to use it, the five shot enbloc works well. Thank you for a product that is a quality item even though some of us aren't smart enough to realize it.

The clip worked beautifully in my WWII era Garand. I felt like I needed to force it into the rifle a little farther than an 8-round clip, but it may have just been my imagination, and it isn't really an issue anyway. I might just grab another.

Personally, I liked this product. With the bolt locked back, Garand clips lock when the follower is pushed low enough to enable the clip lock. The product works the way its supposed to. Unless the other review is talking about the 8rd or single rd, I have no idea what he means.

Aggressive Engineering makes good quality 2 and 5 round modified M1 Garand Clips. You will see their 2 rounders at CMP events all the time. Our club runs a mini-CMP match weekly using the 5 round clips with great success. I personally know over a dozen CMP shooters with these clips and without any complaints.

The product works as advertised. The reason the bolt does not move forward when the loaded clip is fully inserted is that the follower has not been pushed to the point where the bolt is released because the clip is not loaded with 8 rounds.To use this device successfully, insert the clip while holding the heel of the hand on the Op rod handle. When the clip is fully inserted into the magazine, push the Op rod handle to the rear to release the bolt stop then move the hand and thumb smartly out of the way. It's just like closing the bolt on an empty chamber.
