Perfect fit for the Mossberg 500. Comes with different sized screws for spacers that are used to adjust length of pull. The stock is a great combination when used with a pistol grip fore-end.

Received product on St Patrick's Day, after waiting sometime for it to come off of back order. Bought it because it is a tactical style stock that is made in the USA. Installed on a 590 special purpose. It does come with all necessary hardware to mount the stock, two spacers for adjusting LOP are already installed. I removed these because the purpose for this weapon is home defense and I wanted the shorter length for better maneuverability in the house. As the previous reviewers have stated it does have a lot of latitude in adjustment, very comfortable feel, comes to the shoulder very easily. Easy to move from room to room through doorways when held in a ready position for home defense (shouldered but pointing down at an angle.) The only thing I can really think of that is different from the standard stock is the action lock is more difficult to reach. With a standard stock, the lock is in a very natural position to hit with your trigger finger. With this stock there is a space filler that is molded into the stock from the front of the pistol grip to the back of the trigger guard that makes access to the action release more difficult. If the gun has been discharged either on an empty chamber or from the previous round, the lock does disengage allowing the shooter to rack the action without depressing the lock, making this point a little less critical. It appears that many of the other manufacturers also try to fill that space as well so there may not be a way around this. Just wanted to let others know that it is something that changes if you are used to a standard stock and decide to try to use one of these.

Very excellent product, sturdy, nice fit to the weapon, the rubber butt on the end of the stock is exceptionally comfortable and absorbs recoil nicely, It has a nice length, short, yet long enough for a comfortable grip position. Plus, it has a great tactical look to it, it went well with the choate pistol grip forend I bought alongside it. Only Gripe is that the mounting screw is a little short and lacks a phillips head divot (the factory 500 hunting stock does use a phillips), so you have to use a ratchet instead of a simple screwdriver.

This is a good quality, relatively inexpensive stock. Installation is fast and easy. The stock fits the 590 very well, and adds a nice look to the gun.

Easy to install, and fits perfectly on a 590. You will need a socket extension for installation. Recoil pad is fairly thick, though if sensitive to recoil, a slip-on recoil pad over this should work nicely; though be careful in extending the length of the stock too much. Once installed, there is good control and fast sight acquisition.

This is a quality made stock and when utilized with a Pachmayr Decelarator Slip-on recoil pad you have a truly outstanding product that rivals the recoil reduction of the Knoxx SpecOps that I have on another 12 Ga. shotgun.
