Works well, very thick, consistency of jelly. Smells minty, not like Hoppes No. 9. I use it mostly for storage. Goes on thick, then wipe down when you go to use it.

I have used this product for a good number of years. It not only works to protect firearms for storage, but it is also a great lube for firearm actions. I use it on all my semi-autos and revolvers and it really reduces the friction and wear.

This grease is excellent for collectors with guns in storage. I have guns that are put away and I don't want to get them out every few months to oil & check on them. This grease is clean and goes on smooth. Wipe off the excess so the gun looks like it was just oiled, put it in a sock or stand it up in the safe and don't worry about rust for years. I did a rust test with this grease and other popular oils and I couldn't make bare steel covered with Hoppes grease rust. I still have the steel piece out in my garage and after 2 years and several bouts with saltwater spray it's still rust free.
