The RCBS Trim Pro Case Trimmer Case Neck Turner is an ideal tool for fast easy removal of excessive neck material or to remove variations in case thickness. The inside and outside of the case neck are turned simultaneously. The case neck turner require the use of caliber specific Case Neck Turner Pilot-Reamer (sold separately).

After i had the tool for a time, and had time to study it. Had read all the bad reviews. Pretty simple set the cutting blade with a feeler guage. neck wall of .014 use the .014 blade in the feeler guage..feeler guage blade goes between the reamer and the cutter. I do not know why the tool would go out of adjustment. set screw holds the adjuster. I used Imperial sizing wax to lube the reamer. works just fine. It will hold finer then you have the guges to measure with. Did all the necks on my LakeCity brass and thats about 1000 cases. Its a simple tool that works just as it should. I did have a stiff little brush I used to clean the cutter head after 10 cases,and then another 10 cases .Clean again.

I've been using one for over a year now, and have had good luck with it trimming 5.7x28 brass. I would have given it 5 stars, but had to dremmel a couple spots where the adjustments were getting hung up. After knocking off the "burrs," the adjustments worked fine. I expect better from RCBS, but it works now, which is what counts.

I just received one a couple of days ago. I do not have the RCBS Pro Trimmer but I have the Hornady Cam Lock Trimmer. Did not wish to buy another trimmer just to get the neck turner / reamer. Very glad this case neck turner/reamer works with the Hornady trimmer which I have and like. I use it with my 30-06 cases. Hope to improve my groupings with it.

I bought one last weekend. came home and set it up. first two I took to much off the outside. made one more adjustment and did 250 223s with no problem. only thing I had to do was about every 50 I had to blow off the cutter due to brass build up. other than that it saved a lot of time.

Works very well for the money. The only drawback seems to be that the adjuster can back off on its own when you are doing a large quantity of cases.

Save your time and ...

Save your time and money.This thing is junk. It is simply not made with the required tolerance to do its intended job. I ruined a bunch of brass trying to get it to work.You can't adjust it with any degree of accuracy. The brass that was turned had neck tension variation and was no more concentric than new brass. I run all my rounds through a Bersin Device to correct runout and the brass I turned with this have more runout than new. When you are dealing with 1000's of an inch you need a very precise instument and this tool certainly is not.

Works fine on the reaming ...

Works fine on the reaming but the set screw for outside turning doesn't stay adjusted and needs to be better equipped for fine tuning. Not up to RCBS's usually good quality. A little resizing lube on the reamer will eliminate sticking problems. I like the auto feed feature also. But until the outside turner problem is fixed I wouldn't recommend this neck turner

When used in conjunction with the neck reamer this thing is impossible to use. I have tried to do about 100 cartridges and its taken hours and have lost 10% due to un-uniform shaving, trimmer slippage and generally it's hard to use because it keeps getting stuck. Worst tool I've ever used for this.
