Stack-On Safe 'n Dry Desiccant Dehumidifier packets pull moisture from the air and can be used almost anywhere. Each packet is individually wrapped in a foil pouch to prevent the desiccant from activating. Once opened each packet can draw moisture from 5 - 7 cubic feet for about 6 weeks before it will need to be recharged. Each packet includes a handy moisture indicator to let you know when it is time to recharge. Units can be recharged in a standard, vented oven at 200° F for 3 hours and can be recharged 3 or 4 time before its moisture absorbing properties are lost.

An Inexpensive method of protecting my powders, primers & reloads. I put one packet into each military ammo can I use to store my primers, powders, & reloaded ammo and they work great. I have used the silica gel packets for only 2 months so I cannot comment on ease of recharge or life expectancy of packs.

Does the job, but for the same price, you can get a metal desiccant that can be recharged for life, FOREVER! These have 8-10 uses, then they become worthless & you have to throw them away. Really a stupid part of marketing since every brand except Stack-On a last for life. Just a waste, but the other brands (bake to recharge or the Remington that recharges by plugging into a wall socket for a few hours). Really should only get 1 Star.

Nothing spectacular, except they do the job they are described as doing. It just takes several of them. I would go with something that covers a little more area, but I bought these for storing smokeless powder and they work great for that. I guess I can see why the other 8 reviewers had nothing to say.

Excellent product thus far. Using them in gun cases and ammo storage areas and have had excellent results. Color coded card makes it easy to see when packs need to be replaced and replenished. What else can be said, works like...well, silica gel.

Great idea, reusable, easy to use, perfect for air tight ammo cans. Extras went into safe and ammo / powder locker. Still use dehumidifier, but great for additional protection / dryness.

I was looking for some small dehumidifier packs that would work for ammo storage and was glad I found these! They're the perfect size to throw in a .50 or .30 cal ammo can.I also like the fact that they're rechargeable in an oven.Can't go wrong for about $1 apiece!

I purchased the Dehumidifier Packs to place in ammo cans with tumbled brass for long term storage. I have not used the product long enough to determine how well they function, but have used other dehumidifier products for similar purposes.
