This sight is great! I mounted it on my Sig Sauer 1911-22 and this sight took my gun to the next level. I was a little nervous that the extra weight on the slide of my .22 pistol might cause it to jam or not cycle properly, but this thing is so lightweight it didn't affect the function at all. Just loosen up the 2 lock screws on the back of the sight make the proper adjustments (up/down, left/right) then tighten the 2 lock screws back down & it holds its zero perfectly. I highly recommend this sight!

Great value. I mounted this on a MI AK handguard, and I love the weight, ease of sighting in, and how well it holds "0". I can't give it a 5 for 2 main reasons: have to remove the sight to replace battery & auto-brightness does not work with flash lights (requires ambient light for the sensor). Sounds like the FastFire III corrects these, and I can't wait. This guy definitely has a home on my turkey gun when I upgrade.

Using this sight on my SGL 21, no complaints at all. It's clear, the dot is very visible even in the bright Florida sun, it is constructed solidly, and it's easy to adjust. Not much more you could ask for at this price in my opinion.

Sighting in that Fastfire ...

Sighting in that Fastfire II red-dot on my old .45-70 was a hoot. 12 shots before I could even hit any paper. I was bouncing rounds off water puddles and rocks for first 6 shots. I finally brought the target into 10 yards, only then was I able to get it on paper. Moved it to 25 yards, for fine tuning. Actually once everything was locked in place, I fired two rounds. I thought the second shot missed completely. I was really pissed off, so I walked down range to double check the target... both hits were in the same hole by 1/8" edge. Then moved to 50 yards where red dot covers the whole target... but was still fairly accurate at 1". It has very limited use for hunting, but for personal protection should be excellent.

I put this sight on a Glock 17. It is best for fast target acquisition. 400 rounds so far and couldn't be happier. No tape required in my opinion. The dot adjusts well in all of the lighting situations that I have encountered so far.

I mounted this sight on a Taurus model 627 Tracker 357 magnum revolver. It worked very well for me and I'm very happy with the performance so far. I, like some other shooters, found the dot to be a bit bright, and would bloom in very bright ambient light. The fix, as I have read in other reviews, is quite simple. I just put a small tab of white electrical tape over the light senser on the front of the sight. If it's still too bright for your taste, just add another layer. The sight cover was a a little loose, but those little tabs of tape served the dual purpose of tightening it up to a nice snug fit. It takes a little practice to find the dot rapidly, but one would have the same problem with a pistol scope. Easy to shoot with both eyes open and has been a great help for my rather poor vision. No more fuzzy iron sights for me.

I have three of these sights, one on a 9mm, 40 S&W, and a one on a Browning BPS turkey gun that has shot many rounds of 3.5" mag.All have sighted in easy, have never lost point of impact and the red dot is always the right brightnes in daylight or darkness. I highly recommend this product.
