I bought this sight for a ...

I bought this sight for a Marlin Model 60. It fits the diameter of the barrel properly and it is the right height. The only issue is I had to mount it backwards, but it works fine and is easy to see. This sight is easier for me to see than the factory sight. I would buy more.

ORDERED ONE FOR MARLIN GLENFIELD MOD 60 RATHER THAN GETTING BARREL REDRILLED & TAPPED BECAUSE HOLE LOCATION WAS LONGER ON MARBLE SIGHT[FROM END OF BARREL CROWN] ALL I DID WAS MOUNT SIGHT BACKWARD USING EXISTING HOLE IN BARREL WITH 6-48 SCREW PROVIDED BY MARBLE. IF YOU DONT MIND THE RAMP BEING TOWARDS FRONT OF BARREL THEN THIS SIGHT WILL WORK FOR YOU.THE RAMP DOES NOTHING ANYWAY.THIS SIGHT BOTH ORANGE & GREEN ACTUALLY GLOW WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF LIGHT [ YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED]. I DID MAKE MY OWN HOOD FROM A PIECE OF BANDING IRON TO PROTECT LIGHT TUBE FROM ANY DAMAGE. THERE WAS ENOUGH ROOM AND FLAT SIDE ON THE SIGHT TO USE 4-40 SCREWS TO MOUNT HOMEMADE HOOD. I WISH MARBLES HAD THOUGHT OF THIS [YOU DO NEED TO PROTECT LIGHT TUBE FROM BEING BANGED IT IS HELD ONTO SIGHT WITH THREE SMALL BANDS THAT ARE MACHINED INTO SIGHT] ALL & ALL I THINK THIS IS A GREAT IMPROVEMENT ON ANY GUN , I HOPE THIS INFO HELPED HAPPY SHOOTIN.

Recently bought two of ...

Recently bought two of these sights; one was intended for a Marlin 795 (072401) and one for a Remington 597 (072402). DO YOUR HOMEWORK from the center of the screw hole to the end of the sight measures 1 inches (both models listed above). This has ended up being just a hair too long for my application. Would have been 4 stars if it fit either of my two guns. As for the product itself, I thought it was well made, and I would have no problem buying other Marble Arms products. Speaking to the color of the fiber optics, I bought both one red and one green. Personally, I feel the green will be preferable for use at my local indoor range. Your mileage may vary
