The Speed Scabbard® is designed to meet the needs of plainclothes professionals preferring a holster without a thumb break while still providing firearm retention. This is accomplished with precise molding and tension screw device on most models. Belt slots are 1-3/4" wide.

This holster is a perfect ...

This holster is a perfect fit, and it will work for concealed carry. It holds the revolver nice and tight to the body. The workmanship is also 1st class. If you have a Judge with the 2-1/2" cyl and 3" Barrel this is the holster.

During 22 years in Fed. L.E. I have tried a variety of quality holsters, DeSantis happens to be my favorite. This is no exception to the quality I have come to expect. The fit and finish testify to the effort and care DeSantis takes in making a quality holster. It holds the revolver securely, and wears comfortably.

Good quality leather, ...

Good quality leather, looks like it will last for many years. Holds the revolver secure and tight against your side, positions the revolver for easy, quick and quiet access. Allows firearm to be removed very smoothly and will reholster with just a little finesse. You would need a heavy jacket that is at least several inches below your belt to carry concealed. Fits the Judge like a glove. Did not need any breaking in or stretching to get it to fit. I would trust it to hold the revolver in place over rough terrain, but it is probably not quite as secure as a retention type holster. Overall excellent holster for the price, I recommend this holster as affordable, confortable carry and quick access. performs as advertised.
