The X-Ring receiver is the ultimate refinement of the iconic .22 LR Ruger 10/22, incorporating numerous enhancements that improve both form and function. Precision machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum, the receiver is lightweight, yet strong, and comes equipped with an integral 15 MOA Picatinny top rail for mounting optics. A hardened stainless steel bolt, dual recoil spring arrangement, and custom charging handle ensure smooth, reliable function. The rear of the receiver has been drilled out to facilitate proper barrel cleaning, allowing easy access to the bore from the barrel's chamber end, and thus avoiding the potential damage that can occur to the barrel's crown by a cleaning rod that is shoved down the bore from the muzzle end. Includes a custom barrel retainer V-block and stock screw, and is compatible with most aftermarket barrels, stocks, accessories, and magazines (including Ruger's factory rotary magazine) for the Ruger 10/22.
