Product Information

Rifle Basix Triggers are manufactured from the highest quality materials. Internal parts are EDM cut from A2 tool steel and heat treated and polished for consistent performance, trigger housings are CNC machined. Adjustable from 10 oz to 4 lb. Gunsmithing is not required if the installer is familiar with trigger and safety operation. Will not fit rifles with the "MOA Trigger" from the factory.

I am very happy with the trigger. Given the cost and ease of installation it is a no brainer upgrade! I installed it on a FN PBR-XP. I could not find any documentation that it would work, but given my past experiences with MidwayUSA I figured it was a fairly low risk proposition. The trigger fit PERFECTLY. The hardest/most time consuming part was removing my scope and stock. The adjustments for weight, sear, and overtravel are easy and intuitive. My only advice is to use LocTite or similar product to ensure that the set screws stay put. If you are thinking about improving the trigger on a similar gun I suggest you pull the trigger (pun intended) and get one.

This is a great product. I installed this product in my Model 70 Stealth in about 15 minutes. Assembly was a snap. Trigger dropped in without any modifications to the trigger or stock. Make sure to have some Loctite on hand. I would not install without it. The instructions are simple and easy to understand. This is by far the best trigger you can get for the money. Trigger pull is light and crisp. Do yourself a favor, buy this and enjoy.

This is a remarkable trigger for the price. True drop in installation with excellent simple instructions. This is a vast improvement over my stock Winchester M70 trigger which would not adjust as I wanted. Take some time after installation and it can be light, crisp and safe. I like it.

I installed this trigger on a model 70 super shadow that had a miserable 9 1/2 pound trigger pull with a little creep. It is simple to install, however the directions could be a little more precise, they tell you enough to get the job done. My model 70 now has a crisp clean 2 pound pull, and I would not ask for any improvements. I would recommend this quality product to anyone. Thanks MidwayUSA!

Bought 2 of these triggers for Model 70s. Both trigger holes had to be drilled to fit the stock pin. Instructions could have been a little more detailed as well. Good triggers, crisp and easy to setup but not drop in.

The Rifle Basix trigger solved the problem with a hard pull on a pre-64 Model 70 Win. It was easily adjusted to the 3 pounds I like. There is no creep; just nice and crisp. Time to install was about an hour. That included milling the trigger guard to accept the wide trigger. I called the help desk and got quick and excellent service. It made the install much faster and improved the quality of my work. They even explained some improvements that are being made to the Model 70 triggers for the future. It is not difficult to install this trigger and I am certainly no gunsmith. I highly recommend this trigger.

These are so good I just ordered another one for a project 1000 yd. rifle. I have installed two already and they are easy to install and very crisp and exact. I set one at 1.5 lbs. and the other at 1 lb. they are very constant in pull from one shot to the next. Directions are easy to follow and it installs in 15 min. or so. No grinding or fitting required just slip it all together and go shooting.

This is an excellent trigger mechanically. It installed and adjusted easily and breaks cleanly, a great improvement over the factory trigger. The only thing I was not happy with is that it is not available in black finish, so I had to spray paint the stainless steel trigger.

Very nice/smooth trigger and simple to install/adjust. Set my 270 WSM model 70 at 2 1/2 lbs and it is flawless. Will put one on my 243 WSSM as well. Factory Model 70 triggers USE to be great, not anymore.
