Nosler's E-Tip lead-free bullet features the same polycarbonate tip found on the popular AccuBond and Ballistic Tip bullets prevents deformation in the magazine, boosts aerodynamic efficiency, and initiates expansion, a highly concentric gilding metal frame and a precisely formed boat-tail for reduced drag and more down range energy. Specially designed Energy Expansion Cavity allows for immediate and uniform expansion while retaining 95%+ weight for improved penetration. Patent pending alloy reduces fouling while providing superior accuracy and consistent performance. This is not loaded ammunition.

First use of this bullet on game with my wife's 300 WSM at 3200 fps. Shoots right at .75 MOA consistently with Win brass (not nickel plated). She shot a good 160 lb sow at 170 yards on a broadside entry. Knocked the sow flat, she got up and ran about 40 yards and collapsed. Upon our autopsy, her heart looked like it was filleted open and the lower lobes of her lungs were pretty much gone. Very devastating full pass-through. We'll be using them again.

Had a hard time getting ...

Had a hard time getting these to shoot under an inch initially. I'm used to seating bullets closer to the lands to gain accuraccy. What I found with the 150gr E-Tip in my '06 is that moving them 0.100" AWAY from the lands resulted in 0.5" groups at 100y. Now I'm super happy with them (0.5" groups will do that) and plan to try them out on elk this year.

I tested these out of a .30-06 chambered rifle, and used Noslers minimum load (as recommended). Groupings were well under 1" when I did my part at 100 yards. They performed well in a gel block, making a narrow, but expanding cone that continued to expand until it exited 16" later. 4" exit

Took my daughter hunting ...

Took my daughter hunting for the first time in Texas for wild boar. This was my first time using the E-TIP but I found it easy to work up a very accurate load. Was very impressed with the knock down power of these bullets. They appear to hit very hard and create a lot of internal damage. Two out of the three hogs she took went right down. She was shooting my BAR .308 and we didn't notice any problem shooting this bullet through a semi-automatic. I will be using the E-TIP bullets exclusively in the future.

Thought I'd give these a try after shooting 150gr Partitions for the last 15 years. Loaded 20 rounds with 4 different powders. IMR4350, IMR4831, RL-19, and BL-C2. The RL-19 shot a 5 shot group of 3/4".The other 3 shoot 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" 5 shot groups. This was with a 30 year old Remington 700 BDL. Can't wait to try the E-Tips on game, but am extremely confident they will perform well.

Switched from a 165 grain Nosler partition after 22 years of success. (19 straight one-shot kills on deer and elk. Result? Tow one-shot kills on elk with a recovered weight of 148.5 grains from a 150 grain bullet. Great!!

Good accuracy but sorely ...

Good accuracy but sorely needs cannelure to make bullet safe in Semi-auto rifles as you cannot get enough crimp on bullet to prevent bullet from pushback into case in magazine fed semi autos and even my bolt '06 showed pushback on last round in magazine with heaviest crimp. Fine performance of controlled expansion, should be great bullet for thicker-skinned game. Again, I would NOT recommend this bullet for semi-auto rifles!

I finally got a chance to use the new E-Tips from Nosler. I had a hard time to find the right load for them along with the right seating depth. I got close so I hunted with them. Shot a small wild cow with it. Quartering to me. Hit between the neck and left shoulder, exited behind the last rib on the right side. Animal dropped in its tracks. IN ITS TRACKS!!!! Super penetration!! No recovery of bullet. Great product when you can find the right load. Wish it was at a little better price cause of the difficulty in load development, but I will be ordering more in the future.

Opening 15 minutes of the 2008 deer season I had a 10 point 218 lb whitetail walking at 90 yards. One shot from my 300WSM put him down after 30 yard run. He would of went down in his tracks but I shot a bit high and double lunged him. Lungs were pulp when I cleaned him. I loaded lots of different powders and all had good accuracy with this fine bullet...some were sub MOA... none over 1 1/2" groups from my Remington 700.
