Just received these grips ...

Just received these grips yesterday, they are for my Colt Agent. I am less than impressed with how they fit my Colt. It comes in one piece that wraps around the gun with single screw through the center. On the front of the grip(where your fingers are) there is a gap in the rubber. I will still use them for the time being because they are more practical than the original wooden grips.

If you have a D-frame ...

If you have a D-frame Colt gun like a Cobra or Detective Special or Agent, you NEED these Pachmayr grips. They easily replace the wobbly and unsightly factory wooden grip panels. The rubber fits my hand nicely and kind of sticks to me like a good grip should. The best investment you could possibly make in your Colt and it looks like it should have been there from the factory.

These grips do a great ...

These grips do a great job! I've put a set on my Detective Special and one on my Police Positive Special, and they do everything I need. They mount easily and quickly, cushion recoil with a non-slip grip, and allow use of speedloaders. They also provide the bulk to fit my hands naturally, while remaining usable for my wife's small hands. They are also compact for carry purposes. For someone who wants a functional set of grips, these are exactly what you need. While I enjoy the traditional look and feel of original wood grips, these Pachmayr grips are far superior for shooting, and that is my personal first priority. Since it's so easy to take these on and off, you could display your guns with original grips & mount these for shooting. I simply leave mine on--the looks suit me fine.
