Weaver Top-Mount Rings offer wide top steel caps that hold zero under the most jarring recoil. Loosen the thumb nuts and you can go back to iron sights in seconds. Later you can put the rings back on the base, tighten the thumb nuts and the scope will be very close to zero.

CHOOSING RINGS: Ring height is determined by measuring the outside objective (bell) diameter on your scope. If you aren't sure which rings will suit your needs, please refer to the Ring Height Application Chart.

I have used these on my ...

I have used these on my high powered rifles for the last 40 years, and they don't ever change zero or slip, as another reviewer has implied. There is no way for them to, unless he didn't remove the oil or silicon from the scope tube, and that would cause any set of rings to fail......

These would be great ...

These would be great except for one major design flaw; the steel band slips. As you can see in the image, one side is a French cleat and the other has screws to tighten the strap. During recoil, the cleat side will slide, and the scope will shift. I have tried repeatedly to re-install and tightened to the point that the strap cuts into the scope's finish, but still the same result.

If I were to pick my ...

If I were to pick my favorite of all favorite scope rings, this is it. They are great looking ring, are extremely quick release and very repeatable. One note: When you are initially setting up your scope, tightening the ring tops will rotate the scope a couple of degrees and you have to anticipate this. It may take a couple of tries but after its done you never have to mess with them again.
