The bullet that started the company, Nosler Partition Bullets feature a fully tapered jacket that ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high or low velocities.

Nosler's integral Partition supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet weight for deep penetration. The special crimp locks in the rear core section, adding strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums. This is not loaded ammunition.

Sub MOA groups from Ruger ...

Sub MOA groups from Ruger M77 Hawkeye .308. Three deer taken from approximately 75 to 225 yards, all one shot kills. This is an exceptional, versatile, big game bullet. I've used it in various calibers for eighteen years. It's construction breeds consistent, utterly reliable performance. As an all around big game bullet the Nosler Partition has no equal.

Excellent bullet. Using a Remington 700 .30-06, I have found these perform better than the Ballistic Tips on whitetail deer. They go down right away and don't "blow-up" ruining a lot of meat.

Used this bullet over RL-19, shot a fairly large Pacific Forked Horn quartering on me at 100 yards downhill; the deer took less than 10 steps and dropped with significant internal damage. The bullet entered the right front shoulder breaking it to pieces and exited the left rib area leaving approx. a .75 caliber hole! Very good performance, very accurate with 1/2 inch at 100 yds not uncommon, usually the norm. Very good and reasonably priced.

Who can complain about terminal performance? Nobody.But... I wish they would modernize this bullet with a polymer tip. The lead spitzer tips get blunt-nosed from recoil in the magazine of my .300RUM.

I use Nosler products almost exclusively (go figure being from Oregon and all). This bullet weight performs the best for me and the partition has to be THE all around bullet. I have killed several deer with it and have yet to recover a bullet. This is the bullet of choice for a black bear to penetrate deep. I can put 3 shots into one hole with 55 grs of H414. I have yet to have this bullet fail me. Period!

This bullet consistently gives sub-MOA accuracy (3/4 inch groups usually, and even a few groups of 1/2 inch at 100 yards) in my Ruger M77 .308. I use 44 grains of Hogdon Varget, Winchester brass, and Federal 210M match primers. Just got the rifle this spring, so hope to take a deer with it this season.

I have been using these bullets since 1971 and have never had one fail. 85% of my shots are shoulder shots (don't like to track deer) all shot where pass throughs, some going through both shoulders. I use a Rem. 721 built in 1949 for 90% of a lot of kills. This bullet shoots well for a gun that is almost 60 yrs. old, averages 1-1/2 inch 5 shot groups @ 100 yds. I would say it is the best bullet I have ever shot and it is but it is about the only bullet I shoot in all my guns.

Great bullet I killed a nice 6x5 bull Elk right through both shoulders and boiled the dirt on the ridge behind it. If you didnt get it too pass through bone my guess is you didnt use enough powder.. probably got a light load of powder in that case or something..
