GameKing Bullets are designed for hunting at long range, where their extra margin of performance can make the critical difference. GameKing bullets feature a boat tail design to bring hunters the ballistic advantage normally found with match target bullets. The 180 Grain 30 Caliber GameKing is an exceptionally accurate big game bullet. It was used to win the 1953 1000 yard Wimbledon Cup. This bullet may be used on big game and is best when pushed at high velocities.

The Best

These bullets are as good as it gets, no matter what the price. I worked up a near-max load for my 300 WSM and shot consistent quarter-sized groups at 200 yards. I got an elk this year with a less than perfect shot. It was a snap shot at a running bull in the trees at about 100 yards. The bullet hit a little far back and a little high, but still got both lungs. He ran about 50 yards with a softball-sized exit hole, and collapsed, dead. Absolutely perfect performance!

I have used Sierra GameKing bullets for more than 23 years now, in everything from 243 up to 300 ultra mag. I use the 180 gr in my 308 and 30/06, both shoot sub moa groups at over 100 yards. I know for a fact, that when I touch the trigger on my game this year, the bullet ''WILL'' do its job!!

This is the most accurate game bullet out there. I started reloading 2 yrs ago and just reloaded my .30-06 for elk hunting last year. Got my first ever Elk and this bullet dropped it with one shot. You can't go wrong for the price.

I loaded these in my 300 and for a buddy of mines 30/06. They are nail drivers. We both took deer this year mine didn't take a step. His wasn't the best shot but still put the feet down. It's the only bullets that we will load from here on out. Don't waste your money on anything else this is a great bullet. I can't say enough about it

I worked up a load with ...

I worked up a load with IMR 4895 that got this bullet putting up sub-1/2", 3-shot groups @ 100 yards and took it back to my old hunting grounds in Nebraska. A buddy borrowed my rifle and this load the day after I took two whitetail does with it. He took a nice antlerless deer of his own with it. The larger of the two does that I shot really showed off the performance of this bullet. It was a frontal neck shot that went through the neck, blasted into the deer's back and into the body cavity, and was found 2/3 of the way back near the back loins. Not only was penetration excellent, but retained weight was 160.9 grains (89%)! That's exceptionally good for a traditional cup-and-core bullet. Percentage-wise, the Gameking actually out-retained the 7mm bonded core bullets I used in Africa last year. I am thoroughly impressed, both with the accuracy and the terminal effect of this bullet. The low cost is just another great bonus.

These bullets are consistent performers--whether on the target range or the deer stand. When loaded correctly, they will perform as good as or better than any premium ammo on the market. Incredible mass retention and way-the-heck-above-average terminal performance are the norm for these bullets. Excellent value for a very reasonable price!

Great Bullet!!! Used these bullet in my 30-06 years ago and it was great. In 2011, I used these bullets in my CZ 550 300 WIN Mag with H4831 powder and my three shot group was one ragged hole at 100 yrds. Highly recommend these bullets.

This is quite possibly the most accurate big game bullet. It shoots from the bench as well as any other bullet I've used. I use it in my grandpa's old 30-06 and one hole shots at 100 yds. GREAT PRODUCT

I've loaded the 180 SBT gameking bullet for almost 20 years on a 30-06 & 300 Win Mag and a 308 Win, if your looking for a bullet that will take deer, elk, & Bear, stop looking, you've found it right here. at ranges from 100 yards and out to 400 yards it knocks the game down and keeps them down. it fairs will with just about all powders that I've used over the years and it won't let you down, when the time comes to make that shot count. I've hunted Big game all over the Pacific Northwest, and I always chamber this Bullet when I mean to bring home the bacon. Try a box you won't be disappointed. Good Hunting.

I've been using the 180 grain Sierra GameKing in my 300 Weatherby since 1994, and to this day I have found nothing that compares to it. When I first started loading this others warned me that the bullet construction was to light for Elk. 15 years later I have harvested 13 Elk and only 1 of them required a follow up shot. From 30-300 yards, you can't convince me of a better bullet than Sierra.
