The RCBS Collet Bullet Puller is an excellent tool designed to help reloaders dismantle loaded ammunition to save valuable components. These collets are designed to easily pull out jacketed bullets without damaging them. These collets will only work with the standard RCBS Collet Bullet Puller. They are not compatible with the larger collet bullet puller designed to work in presses with 1"-14 threads.

the easy way to pull bullets

after years of using the kinetic hammer to pull bullets, this was so nice to use that I bought the collets for the 30 and 223 and 45 also. Well worth the price .

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

When I had to pull dozens of tightly crimped 357 jacketed bullets this made short work of the project. An impact puller took at least 20 and sometimes MANY more whacks to get one bullet loose. With this collet in the RCBS puller die it's grab 'n go, one stroke of the press handle and the bullet is out. The case stays upright with the powder in place so it was easy to check if a case was overcharged. The bullets were only slightly marked in the process, and were reloaded and shot successfully.

This is the Slick Rick of bullet pullers! Sixty second setup and I was pulling 9mm FMJ bullets. My reloading room is under our bedroom and this will not wake up my wife like the impact puller I used before. Since the powder stays in the case, there is no contamination of powder from previous pulls... dump the powder from the case into the trickle charger and use it again. And it did not mar or damage the bullets. Awesome reloading tool!

After I read my load manual one line off and loaded 1000 rounds of 124 grain subsonic 9mm a couple of years ago I ended up having to pull them all back down. When I went to the range I found that they would not cycle the slide even half way! I got lucky in that they were undercharged but by the time I finished pulling them all back down I had gotten really good at pulling crimped bullets without leaving any marks on them and knowing by feel how tight the collet needed to be to pull themI really like this puller far better than any of the kinetic pullers I have tried so I bought collets for all my various calibersIf a loader takes their time and don't overtighten the collet they will pull any bullet out without leaving any marks on them, just takes a little practice is all.I also learned from that to place a piece of paper over the lines below the one I want so when I look at my load manual for data I don't repeat that mistake! Once was Enough! :-)RemMax

A bit too rough on hollow ...

A bit too rough on hollow points. Leaves a mark 8 times out of 10, warps the bullet 3 times out of 10. Jacketed flat points, FMJs & round nose/mostly rd nose like Speer's UDHP this works like a charm. Still far faster, easier and less damaging to bullets than Kinetic pullers.
