These recoil pads offer innovative recoil reduction technology that absorbs recoil and vibration through a unique three step process using a proprietary material NAVCOM. Bought this pad to ...

Bought this pad to replace the factory pad on a Parker Hale Model 1200 rifle. Was easy to install and works very well. Limbsaver customer service was also excellent. They recommend use of 1" no. 8 round head screws for installation. Be sure to check for proper fit on your gun by printing and cutting out templates from the Limbsaver website. This is a great product.

I had this on for over two years now and the rubber is coming off the sides. The pad made a mess out of my gun bag! I can't use this with any good shirt, it will have black sticky rubber all over it. But the 300 Win Mag is a lot better with it on, but man it's not made to last. I think i'm trying out the J,P, brake to get rid of the recoil. Not sure what to do with pad!

Nice soft pad. But one ...

Nice soft pad. But one drop of Butch's Boreshine on the top of the heel of the pad and it's been sort of "melting" ever since. It created a disfigured, tacky spot that's been growing larger over the years. Time to replace.

I purchased one of these ...

I purchased one of these kick pads for my Remington model 700 LSS in 300 Rem ultra mag. Although it works extremely well on felt recoil after about one year the pad is basically rotting, it is literally falling apart, I can rub my fingers on it and pieces of it come off in my hand. I have never gotten any chemicals on it and just like all of my other rifles it is well taken care of and when not in use it sits in my safe, I do not recommend ! If you are thinking about purchasing one of these kick pads please do yourself a favor and buy a kick eez or the reliable pachmayr deccelator

Pad will easily ...

Pad will easily deteriorate if rifle is left standing on butt for an extended period. Also any type of chemicals seem to cause the pad to dissolve easily. Have several on Rem 700s and hope to replace all of them. Poor quality. Would not recommend to anyone.

I ordered this pad for a ...

I ordered this pad for a Marlin 1895G. While many I have encountered found the 444 pad would fit their 1895 Model marlin, I check Sims web sight, downloaded the templates and measured the butt of my stock. The result is as near a perfect fit as one could hope for. The pad itself is a huge improvement over the brick Marlin uses as a factory pad. If you have a heavy recoiling rifle and want to take the edge off this is a great pad. The rubber is very soft yet the outer layer feels quite durable. I wouldn't use it to clime mountains but I will not be afraid to stand my rifle on a rock or in the dirt with it. If you choose this product and verify the fit, you will be happy.

After downloading the ...

After downloading the templates from the limbsaver website I purchased #10112 and found it to be almost a perfect fit on my Interarms Mark X .375 H&H magnum. I haven't fired the rifle with the new pad on it, it has to be an improvement on the stock solid rubber pad. I've shot a 300 Win Mag with one of these pads and found it to be very effective at reducing felt recoil.

I purchased a .300 WSM ...

I purchased a .300 WSM and the recoil with the stock pad was too severe after firing 20 or more rounds. After installing the LimbSaver I noticed a significant difference in felt recoil. I now can shoot as many rounds as I want without discomfort. Great investment.

While I was quite ...

While I was quite impressed with the finish and composition of the recoil pad (#10112 for the Remington 700/Ithaca Model 37 pre-1970), the fit was not even remotely close on my Ithaca Model 37 (about .25" hangover if matched to bottom of butt; width was OK). While I realize that there will be some slight variation on different stocks, it was so off that I am going to have to look for another pad to install. Disappointing, to say the least -- I really liked the idea of the prefit Limb Saver, but it would look ridiculous if I installed it. Maybe it fits better on the Remingtons, but if you are purchasing this model for the Ithaca Model 37, be aware that you may end up in a similar situation.
