Product Information

Since 1928, Prvi Partizan has been producing custom ammunition in Serbia for competition, indoor ranges and big game hunting. Soft point bullets feature a soft lead exposed nose that create controlled expansion and a uniform mushroom. This ammunition is new product, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

I buy this ammo to get the cases. My 243 Savage Axis ( Edge) appears to have a larger than normal cartridge chamber. These cartridges are larger( about 4 thousends of an inch) at the web area--where most cartridges get that little bulge when you fire the gun. When I fire these cartridges I get no bulge whatever at the web area. This allows me to get many more reloadings from these cartridges. Using 105 grain A-Max Hornady bullets these cartridges are super accurate. I will buy many more.

I gave this product 4 stars because nothing is perfect. However, I was highly satisfied with this ammo when firing it out of a Savage Edge in .243. Excellent groups at 100 yards - wherever I decided to put them. This ammo may not be on par with "American-made" ammo, but it is certainty worth the money.

Low cost, clean burning, accurate in Browning lever action - many groups touching! Performed well on game. Opening weekend, took doe and 10 pt. buck, at 37 and 55 yds. respectively, both 1 shot kills. Hit rib on doe, bullet did not exit. She took 1 step. Buck was complete pass-through, hitting top of heart, piled up 75 yds. downhill. Just ordered more.

For the price, you can't beat this stuff. Just like Jeff said, it isn't a Mercedes. I have shot a few hundred rounds of this through a 700 and can drive tacks at 100yds. I think it is as clean as some of the higher priced, domestically produced ammo. Good for plinking or taking out ROUS's.

Well, you cant beat the price, but accuracy is terrible out of my Ruger M77. This is also some of the dirtiest stuff I have ever shot! The only good thing about this ammo is that the brass cleans up nicely. If you want some cheap plinking ammo, dont mind scrubbing your gun after you shoot it, and you reload, then go ahead and get it. Otherwise, I would recommend getting something else.

I used the Academy branded "Monarch" ammo which is the exact same thing as PP ammo. I shot this out of a new Weatherby Vanguard for sighting purposes, and it performed as well as I could aim it. I put a three shot group in the bull at 100 yards minus one heartbeat induced flier. Yes, the ammo is dirty, but truly no worse than can be expected, and unless you're going through a ton of it, Hoppe's will cure most any ill. I have yet to take any game with it, and likely wouldn't with exception of small vermin or 'yotes. If I want a deer, I'll get some "better" ammo. Anyone who complains about cheap ammo being dirty needs to consider the source...can't ask a Geo to perform like a Mercedes-get real folks. By my account, this ammo is perfectly fine for plinking and very likely varmints, and would probably work fine for game in a pinch. Recoil is light, accuracy is good, and the brass is nice. It is what it is folks-don't expect more for such inexpensive ammo.
