Improves grip and feel of ...

Improves grip and feel of the 1911 handle. Secure hold and does not scratch the fingers like plain steel checkering. Almost like installing a Hogue wrap around grip but at a cheaper cost. You get to retain the use of your favorite grip panels while improving holding comfort and steadiness. Keeps the gun pretty. Highly recommended!!

I just got mine today. Took me Minutes to put on My Colt 1911, a little trimming was needed but that was to be expected. Felt great in my hands. Draw back was that when I put my empty magazine in, the rubber inside the magazine well would not let my magazine drop. I had to pull it out. Thought about trimming the inside of it but the rubber between the finger grip and the hand grip would be too thin and would rip but all and all a good grip

Positive finger grips

Have three sets of Pearce grips on my Colt Combat Elite, Colt Gold Cup and Kimber Pro Carry II. They make handling my 1911's positive and they don't move when firing. Used Pachmyr and Hogue wrap-arounds previously but these allow me to maintain the original grips (or install cool looking Cocobolo's) and are not as wide. Having used these for 2 years now, my only advise would be to remove them after at most a year to clean and apply some lube to the metal frame is covers to prevent corrosion. Am planning to put these on my remaining 2 1911's. For the price, trying these is not a stretch for anyone who desires a nice firm functional finger grooved grip.

I was amazed at how much of a difference this made in my grip and hold of my handgun. I bought this on a hit or miss basis hoping to get a set of finger groved grips but love my wood side grips. Cant say nothimg bad about them. Feel great and don't move. Very small amount if any at all of triming. I installed on a Springfield armory range officer 45 and i didnt even bother trimming it fit so well. Idk what is the problem with everyone saying that the rubber catches the mags inside the mag well. I have absolutely no problem with it. 100% satisfied.

I love these finger grooves. Took minutes to install and makes an immediate improvement in the feel and control of my Kimber. My magazine also failed to drop after install, but a litte bit of oil on the pieces under the grip panels that slightly protrude into the magazine well solved that problem immediately.

Bought this for my new Ruger Mark III 22/45. Installation was a cinch, did have to cut off some excess material around the slide release but I knew that beforehand and wont count that as a dink. Having the finger grooves is a phenomenal improvement, now the gun just feels... right. Would highly recommend this to everyone with a 1911 or 22/45

This insert works nicely, I used it on my Chiappa 1911-22, I had to do some trimming to make them work. I like the softer, pachmayr 1911 grips, but at this price point, I'm a happy camper.
