The Hornady Lock-N-Load Press Conversion Bushing are designed to work with the Lock-N-Load Conversion Insert. Simply insert the Lock-N-Load conversion bushing into a standard press with a 1-1/4" -12 thread and you are ready to use the Lock-N-Load System. Allows for the use of the Lock-N-Load technology on most brands of reloading presses.

Just got this in and installed in my RCBS Rock chucker. I was very happy to see that the LEE Factory Crimp Die for 41 mag works as I love that die. I read in some other reviews that lock n load was a challenge to install but I had no problems. My tool of choice for removing the existing bushing and installing the lock n load bushing was channelock pliers. You could distort the bushing if you crunched too hard but I didn't have that problem.

This product was a great thought, but Hornady forgot to put a hex on it so it could be torqued into my RockChucker. I used one of my RCBS reloading dies along with a Lock-n-Load bushing, to tighten it into the press. The only problem is now I have no way of getting my die out of the bushing, due to the fact that the entire conversion bushing comes loose with the die. Hornady cut too many corners on this product. I don't know of any substitute products similar to this one, but if you can find one, get it, and pass on the Hornady.

This is a great product. I installed this on a Lee Classic Cast and it only required minimal shimming to be an exact match to my LNL. I can now swap dies between the LNL and the single stage without any adjustments. I only gave it four stars because it did not come with any shims to adjust the bushing. I had to be creative with shim material to get it just right.

If you like the Lock-N-Load feature this bushing is great. I just got this conversion bushing with a Lee Classis Cast press and I love being able to change out dies with a quick twist. I haven't tried swapping dies between the Lee press and the Hornady progressive as some have mentioned, but I plan to. Even if I can't swap from the Hdy LNL press to the Lee press, I still like having the LNL. I would recommend getting the conversion bushing with the three inserts to save a little $.

I've used one of these with my Hornandy L-N-L .50 BMG press since I got it back in 1999 so I can use the same press to load other rounds as well. My .300 RUM can be loaded on a standard press but is much easier to load on the larger press. Using this adapter and the LNL bushing allows me to swap dies quick and easy while keeping the dies properly adjustedIt also allows the use of the same Dies in my LNL AP press if I chose to load on it. RemMax

I have this installed in a Lee Classic Cast as a companion to my Hornady LNL AP. Makes die changes extremely quick and easy, and I can move dies back and forth between the two presses with no hassles.

Outstanding product! I used it to convert an RCBS Rock chucker to work with Lock-n-Load bushings, as I already had a Lock-n-Load AP press. Now all my dies have Lock-n-Load bushings, and thanks to this conversion bushing, I can switch operations on the Rock chucker in seconds.

I used this conversion bushing on my Redding Big Boss press and it is a great addition. This conversion with the LnL bushings makes die changes quick and easy. And the dies go right back to where they were the last time. This is a worthwhile upgrade if you change dies frequently at all. Even if, like me, you don't have a Hornady LnL AP press.
