One look and you know Xtreme Tactical Rings are all about point-of-aim security and durability. The super-strong yet surprisingly lightweight, six-screw aluminum rings anchor scopes in place on any Picatinny rail or Weaver-style base to deliver unfailing return-to-zero. Available in 1" and 30mm sizes, a choice of four ring heights accommodates the installation of any sight from red-dots to large objective target scopes. The 1" height is perfect for all scopes on AR15/M16 flattop receivers, providing proper cheek weld. Designed and built for the rigors of tactical shooting and massive recoil, Xtreme Tactical Rings are not out of place on varmint rifles or big game rifles that may be exposed to the abuses of hard hunting and magnum recoils.

Very solid mounts. T15 screws (20 in/lbs) for the scope rings and sturdy 1/2 inch hex (65-100 in/lbs) for the base mounts. Equal to the "L" brand mark 4's at over 50% off. Both rings have a recoil lug with a perfect return to zero on my flat-top 6.5 Grendel.

I bought a pair for my flattop AR so I could mount a flip-up sight on the back of the rail. They served the purpose, but they look kind of cheap on my expensive gun. I didn't have enough money for a nice pair at the time, but they worked just fine. I have since replaced them with some rock solid extra high Warne steel rings with the same mounting nut and they look great. Yes I did pay more, but that's o.k. I sold the Burris rings to a friend for his hunting rifle and he likes them. He can see his iron sights through the bottom holes (I think that's what the design is made for). They are good rings for a hunting rifle and the price is good.

These rings are solid and fasten very securely to a rail. If you need to take them off fast to use iron sights, you just loosen the two 1/2" nuts.

I purchased numerous sets of these rings. These are the only rings I buy for my rifles from 22 LR on up. You don't have to worry about losing zero when removing and reinstalling the scope with these rings attached. I lap the rings then use blue Loctite.

Fits my Nikon prostaff scope well. And it sits perfectly, no wiggles on my AR. Best part is.. it has 6 screws on each ring rather than other rings which has only 4.

They seem to be quite functional, strong, and not a pain to keep the scope straight while tightening. I don't care for the looks of the vent/hole in them, but other than the cosmetics, they're fine. They bring the scope up to a perfect height without the use of a riser. I've got two sets now, and I'll be back for more.

If you are using these on a standard A3 style upper with the standard rail these rings are the correct height to allow you to see through your scope while holding a proper cheek weld. If you have a DPMS High Rise Upper with the taller rail you will need the Medium rings to align you scope to your eye correctly.I have one set of these Extra High Rings mounted on my .260 cal LR308 but had to use a Medium set on my .308 cal LR308. I also have 2 other sets mounted on my 6.5 Grendal and 25WSSM AR's with standard A3 UppersExcellent Rings, very strong, rigid, and solid. Excellent quality at a reasonable price.If my scope wasn't already mounted on my .50BMG I would not hesitate to use a set of these to mount my scope on it either.A side note, the holes below the scope are not intended for "See Through" function but are there for weight reduction. If you can see your iron sights through them, thats fine, but that is not their intended purpose.RemMax

These are excellent rings for mounting a scope onto a AR style rifle. I have 3 sets of them currently plus one set of mediums on my LR308 with the DPMS High Rise Upper, the tall rings are mounted on a .260 cal LR308 and on 2 AR15's, a 6.5 Grendal and my 25WSSM, these are far better AR rings than a lot of the others out there, solid lockup onto the rifles rail and nice wide caps to secure your scope to the rings, all of mine have required very little lapping as they were already true.Overall these are very secure rings that mount your scope onto your flat top AR nice and rigid. They also eliminate the need for additional risers and such to get your scope to the correct height when mounted on a A3 upper. For the price I am more than pleased with them. Definitely would recommend these to anyone mounting a scope onto a AR style rifle.RemMax
