TheKrebs Custom extended safety for the Sig 550, 551, and 556 series of rifles is precision machined from aluminum and anodized with a Mil-Spec finish. The extended safety lever allows the shooter to keep a more solid grip on the rifle while operating the safety, this is most apparent while moving from fire to safe. The extended lever also improves operation for users with smaller hands. The extended safety is built to the MIL-A-8625 specification, using 6061-T2 Aluminum with a Type-3 black anodizing.
