I noticed the follower has been improved over the the original colt mag's that i bought in the early 80's. I will buy some more extra factory colt 8 rnd. stainless mag's from Midway in my next order to replace all of the older one's that i have. Always nice to have lots of extra mag's that way can have several different types of ammo ready to go in seconds. Grab slam shoot.....

These are quality made Colt Magazines made by Colt or a sub-contractor. Either way they get the job done with no feed problems or any other problem. Isnt that great, something that does exactly what its supposed to do and does it well. The fit and finish is excellent and besides they look damn good in my gun. I have a Colt Gold Cup Stainless and it eats anything these magazines feed it. For the money I dont think you can go wrong buying these magazines. I now have 12 of them and they all have preformed great in my pistol.

I purchased 5 of these to use in my new Ruger SR1911. Each of them fits flush and cycles flawlessly in the pistol. They appear and feel more rugged / solid than the factory magazines, and I am very happy with their performance. I've put about 100 rounds through each of them so far without complaint.

I recently purchased a new Colt 1911 Elite XSE. I wanted some extra clips so I purchased a couple of these. They match the ones that came with my Colt in size, quality, and functioned without a flaw! These are as close as you can get from receiving them from Colt itself. Dont waste your money on other copies, with these you will not go wrong. I even ordered two more.

Flawless performance in a Colt Mod 70 and a Ruger SR1911. Absolutely the best magazine for the price...even better than many of the $30+ mags out there. To the Gent who was concerned about base pads...try the Pachmayr Base Pad. You get 5 of them for $22. A #43 cobalt drill bit, a 4-40 tap, about 4 minutes each and you have a high-speed low-drag mag combo that is still low profile and less likely to damage when dropping on a hard surface..

These worked in my Colt .45 , Double Eagle, Series 90, Mk 2. They are higher in quality than the original factory mags. Feeds are smooth. I purchased 3 , will be back for more. Great buy for the price Midway sold them to me at (less than an andrew jackson). Hard to locate magazine.

This is an awesome magazine. The follower is designed not to "dip" downward which is a main feed issue in most magazines. No rear weld seam either. Comes with the colt stamp on the butt plate!! I purchased 6 for law enforcement use. Highly recommend this magazine.
