Best box for the .32 H&R ...

Best box for the .32 H&R Magnum and is of correct height. Works OK for .32 S&W Long, but rattles unless rounds are loaded long or you make a lid spacer of closed cell foam (old computer mouse pad) or corrugated cardboard to take up extra space to prevent rattle. The #501 size box intended for the 9mm, .380 ACP and flush-seated .38 Spl. wadcutter works much better than does this box for .32 ACP.

These are listed for 25 ACP and 32 S&W long, but will also work for the 32 H&R Magnum . Cartridge OAL 1.365 or less will fit nicely, with little space between the lid. MTM makes the best plastic ammo boxes for the money, no doubt.

I got these because ...

I got these because believe it or not, I reload both .32 ACP and .25 ACP. I was hoping for a box that would allow me to be able to finally store these tiny rounds neatly. It says .25 ACP on the cover but if you put them in the box and happen to drop a less than full box, they do not stay in their holes. There is too much space between the lid and the bottom and the rounds can get out and move around. Same holds true for the .32 ACP rounds. I don't use the longer .32 S&W Longs so I can't say how well they are retained. I think they tried to cover too much ground with these boxes and wound up making them for the longer rounds without too much thought towards those of us that might want them for the shorter ones. I guess I will have to keep on using the ziplock baggies.They are well made boxes however, that is why I gave them 2 stars rather than one.
