It works, but quality is lacking.

Mine had a couple serious dents. One was on the side of the picatinny rail section and had to be filed down to be usable. The other was on the side of the clamp and is mostly cosmetic. Both dents were obviously there before anodizing and should have never passed through the manufacturer's quality checks. The packaging was in perfect condition so it's not Midway's fault. It wasn't worth the cost to return to Midway, and Truglo's customer service never replied to my email. I repaired it and have been using it, but will eventually replace it with something of better quality.

This is a great product for mounting my Eotech 512 onto my flat top AR. I had gotten another one that was 1/3 inch high but it had only three contact points. The Truglo riser grips the receiver rail for it's full length on both sides. A very solid piece!

Bought this to go with my red dot scope I have for my flattop SW mp15 . I coupled it with 1" mount rings and it brought the sight above my front sight on the gun and is at the perfect cheek height. Excellent product
